1. Who we are
Lifely Momence (Pty) Ltd ("Lifely", "we", "us", or "our") is a South African lifestyle, event, travel, and concierge business. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), Lifely is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy applies when you use our website, contact us, request a proposal, submit a form, respond to one of our advertisements, or use our services.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, and preferred contact time;
- event details such as preferred dates, area, budget range, service preferences, and planning requirements;
- information you choose to share about milestones, relationships, travel, celebrations, or other concierge requests;
- communications with us through email, telephone, WhatsApp, website forms, Facebook, Instagram, or other channels; and
- basic technical information generated when you use our website, such as device, browser, IP address, and security or diagnostic data.
Please only share information that is relevant to your request. If you give us personal information about another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
3. Information from Meta lead forms and other platforms
If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta first collects the information under its own privacy terms and then shares your form response with Lifely so that we can respond to your request. Meta may also provide campaign and interaction information, such as the advert or form through which you contacted us.
If you contact us through WhatsApp or another third-party service, that provider processes information under its own privacy terms. Lifely will process the conversation as described in this policy.
4. Why we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare personalised ideas, proposals, or quotations;
- plan, coordinate, and deliver the services you request;
- communicate about dates, suppliers, payments, and service updates;
- provide customer support and maintain our relationship with you;
- send marketing communications where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits, with an option to opt out;
- protect our clients, systems, and services against misuse or fraud;
- improve our website, campaigns, and service experience; and
- meet our accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
We process information with your consent, to take steps at your request, to perform an agreement with you, to comply with the law, or where our legitimate interests or those of a third party justify the processing and your rights are appropriately protected.
5. How we share information
We may share relevant information with:
- vetted venues, photographers, accommodation providers, travel partners, event suppliers, and other providers needed to fulfil your request;
- technology, hosting, communications, payment, email, and security providers that support our operations;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or authorities when required; and
- a successor organisation if our business is reorganised, sold, or transferred.
We share only what is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. We do not sell your personal information. Personal stories or proposal details are not published for marketing without your permission.
6. Storage, security, and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Some service providers may store or process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that provide an appropriate level of protection in line with POPIA.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and lead information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up, and maintain a relevant business record. Ordinarily, an enquiry that does not become a client relationship is deleted or anonymised within 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
Client, transaction, and service records may be kept for longer where needed to fulfil an agreement, handle a dispute, protect confidential event records, or comply with tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
- give you access to that information;
- correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date;
- delete information we are no longer authorised to keep;
- object to certain processing or withdraw consent; and
- stop sending direct marketing communications.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children who act on their own behalf. A parent or legal guardian should provide any information required for a service involving a child. Please do not submit a child's personal information without appropriate authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page with its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate channel.
